The EV6 Sextet Releases its Recording “2+2+2”
Faculty members from
Los Angeles Valley College and East Los Angeles College join forces with Richard Kahn to record the EV Sextet jazz album entitled 2 + 2 + 2.
Featuring jazz, Latin, funk, and rock arrangements by Robert Dawson, Richard Kahn performs with guitarist Dan Ferguson, bassist Jeff Takaguchi, drummer Robert Dawson, trombonist Michael Julian, and saxophonist Larry Cavelli. Their sold-out performance at Altadena’s infamous Coffee Gallery drew an audience from the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, and Beverly Hills.
